9/11/02 in our Town

Two adjoining communities held a picnic to recognize those who serve us. The two fire departments in particular work very closely. There was a big spread as lots of people brought food. 

There were the shortest speeches I have ever heard. Basically we a fortunate to have good people who give of themselves every day and the asking the fire, police and public works people to stand and we all cheered. 

It was held on the grounds of the Bryn Athyn Cathedral. After the picnic there was special music and a very short prayer service.
